Far Beyond This Horizon Poem by Gerry Freeman

Far Beyond This Horizon

Far beyond this horizon
I know there's a place for me.
Far beyond this horizon
Further than the eye can see.
I'm a prisoner of my past
But oh, the future's calling, free.
Far beyond this horizon
Is where I wanna be.

Far beyond this horizon
Out there in the great unknown.
Far beyond this horizon
Somewhere there's a way back home.
I've been chasing after scattered dreams
Wherever they were blown.
Far beyond this horizon
I'll find my anchor stone.

Far beyond this horizon
Make right what has gone before.
Far beyond this horizon
No lies anymore.
Maybe then at last I'll find
What I've been searching for.
Far beyond this horizon
My ship will come to shore.
