It's A Woman's World Poem by Gerry Freeman

It's A Woman's World

Rating: 4.5

Ever since Eve turned to Adam
And said: 'Come on, take a bite.'
I'm afraid that's right,
It's been a woman's world.
Because from that very moment
He knew that she was in control,
That poor old soul,
It's a woman's world.
Chorus:
It's a woman's world,
Yes, it's true.
It's a woman's world,
Would I lie to you?
They say that it belongs to men
But I always knew.
Tell you what (Say what?)
It's a woman's world.

If you leave aside your Bible,
Study History instead,
Just like I said
It's a woman's world.
Behind every man of substance
You will find a game gal shovin'
In the name of love
In this woman's world.
Chorus:

Even in the world of science
My hypothesis holds true.
What ya gonna do?
It's a woman's world.
If the female of the species
Is more deadly than the male
She just can't fail.
It's a woman's world.
Chorus:

I tend to agree with you somewhat though it seems that women are always fighting for gender equality because they regard themselves as inferior and yet they have an extra rib!
