drops of dew from nature's sweet breath
a gift to my parched tongue
giving me strength to journey on
through the barren places
where there is but a trickle of water
my soul sojourns seeking the mighty river
the one that flows from up on high
life giving majesty
feeding me sustenance
on this day I meditate
into the redwood forests
my being floats
taking shelter in it's mighty shade
hidden among the ferns
my body takes rest
the rushing of the ocean is heard nearby
with it's beautiful ebb and pull
our creators wonderful countenance radiated all around me
a sun once too bright for a darkened soul
now shines down on me with it's warm caress
guiding the way to the river
his grace immeasurable I find this life giving flows through me
from up on high as the Seraphim rejoice
this daughter lost has found her way
