The New Beginning Poem by Varsha M

The New Beginning

Alone, when I was
Egocentrism won
And my pride ruled
Ruining the good.

A turnover of life
Made me realise
Life is not just exercise
But a combination of tries.

A little of you
And a pour of me
Blend a dough great
Baking cake magnificent.

A new is born
Losing one's own selves
Restructuring new selves
Nurturing heaven's believes.

Ego drives, no so wise
Combo hives, sustains even the disguise.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wanted to show that when some things new is formed old individual identify is lost. Like when we mix yellow with blue, green is born. Green is different from both blue and yellow. In the same way our family life sustains when we understand this principle well and adopt. Photo courtesy dreamstime.
