Mistaken Paths Poem by Varsha M

Mistaken Paths

Rating: 4.8

Ah! How much I long to be right
But see it's always the wrong
Yes the wrong which I caught
Making my life an open pond
Rotting with choices that haunt.

It's always okay to be wrong
And accepting your mistaken tong
Than being rude and messing along
For mistake is only a sign that is warning
You'll not reach your destination by following.

A mistake is the first guiding light
Openly saying you to review it
And pick up all the missing unit
And work out a whole new kit
til the time reach your destination fit.

How will I know a difference
B'tween wrong and right consequence
Unless I meet the wrong flourescence
Wailing out and introducing me to the confluence
Saying you have graduated successfully to the new relevance.

Remember always, mistakes as stepping stone
Calling for a determined lot to tone
And try and find the phone
Which dials the number unknown
Until you're successfully grown.

Mistakes are the periods
Needed right as the steroids
redirecting me to the road
That I haven't yet tried
Fearing the consequences laid.

But now I fight like a warrior of the past
Determined to make a new start
For mistakes don't close doors of test
But introduces to world of opportunities best
Encouraging to try until I reach my true rest.

T.Edison said I did not fail
But discovered ten thousand ways
That did not work towards success.
That means I still have ten thousand one chance
To try to fix it out and see if the results work out.

My mistake teaches me my deviation
From the topic that was in consideration
And need to return to it without omission.
A mistake only makes me aware
And need to workout with care.

Mistakes can be corrected
Blunders can't be amended
But that's not the end
But a new beginning to mend
Repairing the old wound.

Inspired by Susan, WOW! Most perfectly worded, sublimest told, as we grow old, all wrongs are corrected and constantly walking the super right perfect road hit, extremely finest end rhymes and the story is still whole, this poem refreshens my soul

So perfectly expressed! Failures and troubles only take over when we fail to learn from our msitakes.

The words are very well said honestly _picking them up it's full of wisdom _ although i feel u may want to work on the structure a bit more to guide an accurate flow of thought

PH is keeping me from sending my last, longer, comment. Your poem is optimistic, perhaps more than it 'should' be?
