The Great Changsha Poem by Abu Sayeed

The Great Changsha

I'm someone, very common
Studying in Changsha
Is my second home;
Far from my country
Live near the Xiang River
I always feel you, Mother!

Yuelu Mountain is so sacred!
A scenic place and home to
Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism's bed!
Sometimes I open book in school library
Dive in search of Mawangdui history.
Zeta Corvi represents City of Changsha
Amiable Chinese helps me forget nostalgia!

Changsha brought up Tian Han
Who wrote China's National Anthem,
It's known as the cradle of revolution
Some of the great man's home town,
Even the birthplace of Chairman Mao,
That first came under the dynasty Zhou,
Orange isle witnesses his energetic boyhood
The place he swam with the comrade.
The city adorns as snow-white
While the Maple rows become crimson red!
Hunanese cuisine is so delicious
Changsha Chou Tofu really diverse!

'Wenxi fire' is the sorrow 'Second World War's'
Made Changsha one of most damaged cities,
My roommate make me feel those midnight
As he enkindles my reading table light.
It's a place with thousand years history
There's everywhere spreading mystery,
Cute little Panda if I got
It'd not as naughty as my roommate!
Changsha, the beauty queen of Province Hunan
That honored me as a cosmopolitan!
