Phalaenopsis Orchid Poem by Varsha M

Phalaenopsis Orchid

Rating: 5.0

Sucking the juice thick
Attached to grean stem
Stood a moth flaring at me.

Scared a bit
Astonished at its fit
I approached to explore it.

Aroma bonny
Encaptivate my psyche
Until I discover moth orchid.

Queen of winter
Boring only three leaves
Forming hanging garden.

Phalaenophis orchid
You resemble to moth
With an aroma unique to define.

Captivating picture of the 'hanging garden' on a tree. The poem nicely captures the magic of these plants as well as the mysticism attached to it as you felt it at first sight. Thanks a lot.
