Obedient Of A Pretender Poem by Sando Hussam

Obedient Of A Pretender

Rating: 4.6

I refuse to obey his every order,
To me, he is a deceiver and a pretender
Although my ancestors followed him
When I questioned their rationale
I was labeled as rebellious and disobedient
I am considered an outright insurgent and outrageous
However, I believed I was the enlightened one
As I could see through the Devil's façade
I knew his intentions beforehand
But persuading my own people was a daunting challenge
I attempted numerous times to change their minds
but failed each time
Now, I observe them trailing the Devil
Who is arrogantly leading them towards their downfall.
