Morning Glory... Poem by Varsha M

Morning Glory...

Rating: 4.9

Glorious is to witness
The dressing drill sky possess
At the break of day
Trying different colours
Before settling with soothing blue.

Oh what a wonderful scene it is
As I see the color black
Being taken over by bloody red
Until the invisibility of darkness
Engulfed by visibility of light.

Mesmerizing was the crawl
Of half glowing sun at horizon
Slowly turning from red to orange
As it took giant leaps from skyline
Making its way above our head.

Soothing was to see its reflection
Scintillating like gold on water
As fishermen row their boat
Completing their morning surge
Until sun finally takes it over.

Tempting is the colour blend
Pulling the dark cover
And stretching the brilliant ember
Until azure sky took over
Making it orange ball of fire.

Nature is a mine of bliss
We need to witness
And admire these
Amidst the busy calls
Gathering peppy tolls.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Wished to paint sky red before it turns blue... enjoying the daybreak as morning creeps in. This is a sunrise at Sriperumbudur in Kanchipuram TN.

My power fails to interpret this majestic poem. Only one line that I take to my little mind... nature is a mine of bliss!
