who would always say "let us progress"
and could never overlook common man's welfare.
This is the humble man
who attained leadership
and led every duty to victory.
This is the humble man
who got nominated as Defence Minister
and adhered to his responsibilities to our nation.
This is the humble man
who wore simple clothes
and always braved any challenges and positions
This is the humble man
who climbed every step of life with self confidence
and held the hands of everyone for comradeship and development.
This is the humble man
who asked for new bridges and better roads for Goa
and never stepped back from his commitments to society.
This is the humble man who said to God -
"let me do all what I have to do
and never call me until I am ready to meet Thee".
