Love Jingles All The Way Poem by Bernedita Rosinha Pinto

Love Jingles All The Way

Rating: 5.0

Love jingles all the way
when the heart rings a bell....
O' how he keeps chasing
that ringing sound
which he alone can hear;
it weakens his strength
until he finds her;
until she reciprocates
restlessly he searches for her
to stabilize his own peace
his own existence
his own serenity;
and though it takes time
to assure her, convince her,
amidst the turmoil he walks
to conquer her and in the event
he himself gets vanquished by her;
mid-way of life when he looks
in the mirror of reality
a reflection of two colliding hearts
reveal a celebration of love
as in every glance was a new yearning
as in every minute was a new delight;
as in every fatality was a compliance
unto each others passion a surrender;
in every dream they strived to win
they found victory in harmony
in every game of life they never lost
their old songs nor promises;
love was the fruit of every season
love was the explanation, the reason;
love was the prompt remedy
as together they abided and adhered
to each others grace and necessities
caringly, endlessly, wonderously
together in joys and turbulences
together in laughter and tears,
together in heartbeats
that echoed in unity and trust,
love was the bell, love is the jingle
that takes man and his life
to his final destination with bliss.
