What Is Prayer!
Is it measured words
That are memorized
Forcefully said & dramatized;
Offered with pomp
And arrogant pride?
Are words unmatched
To the feelings inside?
No, prayer is so often
Just words unspoken
Whispered, in tears
By a heart that is broken.
God is already deeply aware
Of the burdens we find
Too heavy to bear,
And all we need to do is
To seek him in prayer.
And without a word,
God will help us bear
Our trials & troubles,
Our sickness & sorrows
& show us the way to a brighter tomorrow
There's no need at all
For an impressive prayer,
For the minute we seek him,
He is always there!

We shall criticise such prayers as u described in the first stanza In temples and churches. Let us open our hearts, lift up our soul, bring all emotions of sorrow to God ………. That is prayer.
