The Zion Inside. Poem by Zeh SheZ

The Zion Inside.

(The heart of man)
The place of God's holiness, where His people worship Him. A sanctuary where they are protected by Him.

Oh my heart, I would that thou shalt be akin to Zion, abounding in truth, humility and righteousness. Worshipping King Jesus, for He is your God. He is the One Who protects you from this raging world and it's tumult.

Come close to the Lord, o my soul. Give to Him praises manifold, and worship abundant; for He alone is your refuge and worthy of your praised forever. For no gift of mine is fit to repay the Lamb of God. Yet He rises from His throne and inclines His ear to my praise. Just as the angels encamp around those who speak the Word of God.

Bless the Lord o my soul. Speak well of His holy name, all that is within me. He hears the prayers of His servant. He blesses me for His names sake.

I will raise His name on high among the peoples of the earth. I love thee, Lord Jesus. Amen.
