The Lionel In The Jungle Poem by Olusanya Anjorin

The Lionel In The Jungle

The Lionel in the Jungle
The Lionel has been celebrated
For his exploit and he is still being revered
When he roars, the noise reverberated
And his opponents melt and severed
The symbol of strength, courage, and genius

Lionel has no time to mess with the ball
He devoured his opponent
Even when others are full of gall
He maintained composure and listened to his proponent
The symbol of humility, royalty, and ingenious

When the dice is cast
He exploits the slightest mistake
And punished opponents with a blast
What an opportunity to take
The symbols of sense, knowledge, and confidence

When on the prowl
His movement is quiet and subtle
On missed chances, he growled
Writing and rewriting his epistle
The symbol of Lionel in the jungle
