The Fire Inside Poem by Ahatisham Alam

The Fire Inside

I sat around the blazing fire
The fire outside, the fire inside the desires.
Shivering with cold.
The cold outside, the cold within the heart
The air being bitterly chilled
The bitter outside, the bitter within the thoughts.
I am still alive outside, but I have already died inside.
