Spiral Staircase (Mantra)
Life is but a spiral staircase
One goes down and down and down
Down without end
In pointless monotonous circles
In pointless meandering circles
Down down down
A spiral staircase
That never ceases to unfurl.
No man has ever hit the bottom,
Though some have resolved to jump
And they are still falling to this day.
