Oh Candle, Light My World Poem by Varsha M

Oh Candle, Light My World

Rating: 4.7

The life could become challenging
Amidst the unexpected happening

And visibility to goal hazing
Uncertainty, on top, calling

Stability of mine shaking
Impossible, it seems, continuing

B'tween the darkness, I'm viewing
And giant leap, I was dreaming

When the single flame burning
Of the slender candle, tearing

All the thoughts clogging
Dons an attitude, so calming

With the hope of seeing
The unseen, as it ends fearing

Born out of darkness, that's blindening
And leading to what is still waiting

For me to embrace and do the honoring
By flagging the initiation signal, they're expecting

Oh candle, so meager in lighting
Still rules over darkness, for its enlightening.

Whatever be your efforts, in working
Never consider it, as if, meagerly contributing

Always remember, even a single candle flaming
Makes the difference in the darkness, challenging.

Be the candle always, that's all leading
Whatever be the challenges, believe you're fathoming.
