Nature-Machine, Keep Awake!
The machine is asleep. But somewhere
The nature-machine keeps awake!
Serene, noiseless and calm.
But In a nearby theatre,
beyond those visible clouds,
a deadly bomber waits for Its perfect kill. And
I have a bad dream that cometh
with a chopped off head in a big platter.
You like it or not It's a gift for us all.
Talk of the town at least for one day.
But somewhere The nature-machine keeps awake! Serene, noiseless and calm. keep awake...at least for one day the talk of the town. poet' dream.... thank you very much dear poet. for this poem. tony

have a bad dream that cometh with a chopped off head in a big platter. talk of the town only for oneday......... so drastic is our society and you have pictured it very well in this short poem which is to some extent sarcastic about the society in which we live.......... some where the nature machine.......... thank you dear poet. tony
