Momento Poem by jewel mazhar

Momento

1.

Let me see your eyes.
Only then I can bring you
the night's air and it's aroma.

2.
Where's the amazing cloud?
Where have you been
You who belong to a foreign land?

I am a distressed soul.

I assumed the form of a cuckoo
to secretly send out my tunes
near your house
at midday in the spring.
