My African Friend Poem by Simbarashe Raymond Mudukuti

My African Friend

Rating: 5.0

I met a friend
She was from a foreign motherland
Her face like the diamonds of Kinshasa
With a smile so perfect like the lands of Eithiopia
Her eyes were full of golden glow
Seeing her is like watching a waterfall

Chocolate brown in complexion like the oils of South Sudan
So nice lovely and touching
Her window is the awakening like during dawn
And the sleeping beauty during dusk
أنا نفتقدها
الضوء خلال ظلام
