Dear Abraham Poem by Simbarashe Raymond Mudukuti

Dear Abraham

Today has changed us or them
Im not sure if I can call myself part of them or I'm on my own
I think I'm worse
Not being judgemental but saying it as it is
How can I say take one when I'm taking two
And go on to say this is our pot
We all have equal shares in it
Is it equal or have we redefined mathematics?
From the same pot eats the thief and the pastor
So is today's humanity
Now I know and I'm sure
It's all a face lift
A public pose
A posture for after life security
Ain't no difference between them
And dead Egyptian pharaohs
Just for the sack of being called a Christian
These ain't you off springs no more
Abraham has no genes in them
