Lost Poem by Marcy Kidder

Lost

Rating: 5.0

When you first start, there's a burning flame in your heart. You fight to show each day, slowly that fight gradually slips away.

After time it seems, it starts to slip. You get lost, you start to forget. The catering stops, comes to a halt. Guess that's what time does, no ones fault.

Strive to hold on to the new. Like grass in the morning, glazed in fresh dew. Cause once it's gone it's hard to find again. Sometimes lost forever as a scent surfing in the wind.

Cherish those moments, those memories, those special days. Try your damnest not to get lost in the haze.

Go outside find things that are new, focus on your relationship, make it your to do. Love your close ones, because soon they'll be gone, years pass by, it won't take long.
