Hourglass Poem by Marcy Kidder

Hourglass

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes I sit and ponder, the days that have yet to come. How sometimes a little pain is needed to make you feel less numb.

Alot of people question the life that's sent their way. I Just try to grasp time and live day to day.

Some many places to go and yet have not seen. I crave the sights of glory, like the heroin to pheen.

Kids, marriage such a far away dream. Starring at the clouds, sun breaking through in beams.

So much to life, why do people get stuck on a day. Just push to the next one, there's more than just one page.

Ten, forty, eighty..life sure flies by. Live each day in the moment until it's time to say goodbye.
