Your Design Poem by The Writer Way

Your Design

If and since I'm down to earth, you feel like sunlight on the dirt
Although I know you're kind because you're used to being hurt
You feel you're lost sometimes 'cause you're not used to being searched
To find the things you view as perks or sought to see what you are worth
I know you tried to shine and went to give yourself for free
Yet, feel like all your light is being blocked out by the leaves
While all the warmth you give is being being offset by the breeze
Stuck dealing with the bleeding ink you use to paint it beautifully
But, I see you, I'd help nurse if possible... Because I care too
I'm listening to the stories that helped build or maybe.. Scare you
I'm watching for when you "failed" and "who's the blame", the pressure tears, you
Consistently gave your all, (if anything, please let that spare you)
To meet a heart that wants to love after being harmed is a rare soothe
Like ointment on a cut or receiving the love you shared too
I know that feel, but, yours is clearly on your sleeves...
Some may view it as a stain... But that design meansEverything
