You Poem by Yonah Jeong

You

for Samantha

After meeting you
I am trying to write about you

Your face,
It doesn't come to mind

but I can see your
beautiful, smart, kind heart

If so,
how can I remember you?

In broad daylight
two hours with you
my greed and jealousy,
my anxiety, my doubts
always will conquer them
and have recovered
value and meaning of my life
until now

even if it's forgotten
We are connecting.
