I Always Keep Eyes On The Old Ladies Poem by Yonah Jeong

I Always Keep Eyes On The Old Ladies

you wanted to be a friend
with a hot heart
when we walk in the snowing
when we watch movies together
When I hug you in a dark alley
In front of the house
where we'll part late at night
when you kiss
It was true like it

even though you absolutely love me
but you said, 'I'd never marry you'

you want to stay my friend for whole life
Never breaking up
'Why did you marry? ' she cried
'You're no match for marriage.'
with a sigh
with a crying once again
Mary told me, 'becoming a grandmother,
I will come to you,
Be welcomed like a old friend'.
that's what Mary said
Just 40 years ago.
