Will I Make It To A Hundred? Poem by Cowboy Ron Williams

Will I Make It To A Hundred?

Rating: 4.2

I don't know
if I will ever
make it to a hundred.

I've been around
for a little while now.

I saw World War Two
come to an end,
and I've seen the death
of many a friend.

Some of those
were even my
Poem Hunter friends.

Tom Billsborough is now gone,
and so is Daniel Brick.

There's someone else
that I forgot;
I guess my head's too thick.

If I don't make it
to a hundred,
there is no cause to whine.

I'm getting close,
so very close,
this is poem ninety-nine!
