Where The Water Flows Poem by Sven Rhoads

Where The Water Flows

Rating: 5.0

Drifting away as I lay this beaten body down
Inside and out has been a drag through hell
Resting on the surface as I shed this skin
Between here and there where the soul does dwell

A rush of tides come crashing into me
Swept in the stream of sweet clarity

As she returns to me in this place unknown
My deepest wounds are coming to close
Remove from my heart the heaviest of stones
And let the current take me where the water flows

No longer the feeling of being so stranded
A testament of finally letting it all go
Setting my sails just to catch the breeze
And breathe once again to feel myself glow

Swept into the ocean of possibilities
I embrace the waves has they come to me

What will be will be
I will take it as it comes
Ready to feel the crash
Of the eternal flow
I will face what I'll see
There's no turning back now
The way the water flows
On this strange journey
