Well Earned Name Poem by Al J. Cuesta

Well Earned Name

Now the everlasting effervescence of innocence comes running down to prove,

That you and me baby were never meant to last,

Stumbling heavily upon broken black haystacks in the groove,

Feeling every needle digging down our grave,

For the feeling you produced was nothing more than a well marketed commercial,

And how many men have bestowed the reason that you gift,

And take that reason, step on it and proceed cautiously to cease n' not resist,

For you know your name was well earned.
