Water's Doctrine Poem by Soran M. H

Water's Doctrine

Rating: 5.0

In the time of bias and epidemics

wars and affiliations

They said: Why is water colourless?

Not belonging?

but it drives the leaves and flowers colourfully

even the whole of life

With the most beautiful garments

*

I said: water is free!

But when is trapped

it stagnates and rots

but when it is freed

It never stops running

*

It washes away accumulated dirt

on the faces of lean years

And it drift thorns

and dry weeds

To the ocean of oblivion

*

And so on…

whenever you say to me

Neither black nor white

I tell them:

Have you forgotten water is colourless

There you will find

In its nature

my true affiliation

you are no lightweight poet to be read at top speed and then forgotten. Nope. You speak to our minds as well as our hearts and souls and that is what a true poet should do.

A poem of great depth, so meaningful and beautiful poetic lines that brilliantly express the importance of one of the four elements; water.

Your observation on water is superb. It is impartial and so colourless. Though colourless it drives colours and beauty into everything in nature. Water is beauty, water is health, water is food water is life

Why water is colourless? Because it signifies purity. It is attached to colour in a positive way.A meaningful poem, thanks for sharing.
