Leave Alone Poem by Soran M. H

Leave Alone

Rating: 5.0

Leave alone
who only see the fight
as a way of resolution
.
Leave alone
who play with the fire
and think they will not get burnt
.
Leave those who…
In the day are revolutionist
And at nights are burglars
.
no more poetry withstands
the brutal human waves
nor the cry of heaven
extinguishes the jungles fires
.
rather let the poem sing
with the robins at dawn
to the ears of whom
understand the rituals of eternal life

Here the poet indirectly alludes to the moral responsibility of a poet to disseminate the seeds of love and compassion for the well being of humanity. Let each poem flow with the chorus of birds, ringing the happy notes of cheer in all attentive ears! Beautiful.......!

A most philosophical and most absorbing poem you have written and beautifully displayed Soran. And your last verse is more than the stuff than dreams and human wishes are made of. Added to my favourites for another reread and a full score. Many thanks Soran for sharing your gemstone and take care good sir.

An outstandingly didactic piece on life's most pivotal themes - peace and good sense leading the sage pack...expertly spun using memorably sweet poetic turns. Congrats - 10/10!
