Walking In Beauty's Love Poem by james watkin

Walking In Beauty's Love

Terror-constrained, mother's hand
To never let go of
As firm these symptoms take hold;
Walking in beauty's love.

I sweat, shake. Eye-crazed, knowing
That losing sight of her
Shame's hid grotesques close in; to crush
Wellbeing; willpower.
