Rain's Eloquent Sorrow, Unheard When

Rating: 3.0

Rain's eloquent sorrow, unheard when
Youth's surge was proceeding
More impressionably wrung out of
A subsequent heeding!

Talk, once run-related, spluttered
In meaninglessness about
Struck of, when night-slouched prints, for
Loneliness leave no doubt.

I love the style and the stressed words left to be pondered upon, a deeply touching poem perfected in brevity.

One of the many splendid skills of this poet is to use the sounds of words with entanglement and rhythm one to the others, and the dance therein amongst them is twisted and rich.
