Through The Icy Tracery... Poem by Julie Anjani

Through The Icy Tracery...

Rating: 5.0

Through the icy tracery that decorated window,
Heavenly light penetrated into my apartment's hall:
Glancing at the snow-white canvas with a sketch of rainbow,
I saw greetings from a little angel in a frosty curl.

Having painted glass with cryptic pattern with a glow,
He depicted fabulous sunrise in colors on the wall
And attracted eye to see a ray in the gray days' flow,
Gave an answer to my questions, but unfortunately not all.

It was given me to read the cipher of these writings' row:
Here is a shapely shoe, in hand is ticket to the ball...
The footprints of a distant vision reached me through the snow
From my childhood, leaving an impression in the soul...

Lovely poem. On nature, arts and one realises that all is about poetry when one reaches the last four lines..

Mr. Unnikrishnan, thank you for your warm feedback about my poem. Today I published my new work - 'Beyond the seven seas...'. I hope you enjoy it too.
