Julie Anjani Poems

Heart of happiness so passionately dreams
Where is the long-awaited my only
Where and in what regions he lives
I should live alone how longly?
...

I am nor poet nor a pedagogue.
So, please, do not judge biased and strictly
A dilettante's naive monologue, -
Persons who create poems brilliantly.
...

The heart needs neither the fantastic palace,
Nor the golden cage's an exquisite gleam,
But chest that's full of virtues, that's along with
Soul mate, who is similar to warming sunbeam.
...

In the elegant cups painted in a style of 'gold',
Amber tea pours, giving us a pleasant warming.
But its tonic taste is spoiled by the sadness' salt,
And my drink gets more bitter with the next dawning.
...

At moment, earth left under my exhausted feet,
The clouds fell down from firmament, turning into soot,
When I found my peace in you, heeding the heartbeat -
But there was no place for me in its amplitude.
...

My soul cannot regain its peace, even if it is a temporary.
The charming dream of happiness was an illusory idea:
My knight found hearth in the abode of an another lovely fairy,
The everything in their life is wonderful and quite safe there.
...

A blooming rose has drooped, not feeling warming gentle rays, -
It is sad without the smile of sun, - radiant and bright.
The gloomy luminary looks, turning away its clear face,
At the mortal world, for some reason, with the reverse side.
...

I had a wondrous dream: a surface of the pond that shines
In the rays of sun, which has thrown off stuffy shroud;
In reflection - slender maple gives to me majestic glance,
Hiding heart in crown from the piercing cold winds out.
...

Do not be angry, black-eyed gentleman, if keeping
A loyalty to my feeling, I touched your heart chords.
I only catch a distant mirage while I'm sleeping -
And I apologize shyly for this liberty of plots.
...

In exquisite threads of the chosen pearls of words
There can to be only short-term consolation.
Without valuable actions, each of these rewards
Is just beautiful shining a neck' decoration.
...

One day a magic evening in the fit of tenderness
Enveloped me with emerald warm shawl, on which
It wove an ornament of captivating wondrous peace,
Forgetting to entwine the figures of a subtle speech.
...

You are miles away from me, beyond the misty breeze
Of ghostly visions, and to be with you - how can I to try?
Unbeknownst to me, suddenly you stole my peace
Without saying even single word: neither 'hi', nor 'bye'.
...

Under golden domes of spreading boughs,
I am walking home with dressed-up alleys -
This is my sweet city decorated with
The yellow autumn tents of maple crowns.
...

The frisky breeze plays with a thin transparent curtain,
Opening the doors to happy and bright days' gyre.
Say goodbye to the sadness's and longing's burden, -
The sun does send you a right guide, which may inspire.
...

The sun sent me a prompt reply,
Revealing truth through secret pun;
So that a soul could rise and fly,
It gave the ray of hope on run.
...

Through the icy tracery that decorated window,
Heavenly light penetrated into my apartment's hall:
Glancing at the snow-white canvas with a sketch of rainbow,
I saw greetings from a little angel in a frosty curl.
...

Beyond the seven seas, at the edge of earth,
One wondrous day Majnun will meet his LAylie.
He would look at her then, dazzling with the pearls
Of bright smile, and win her heart, it's surely.
...

On the black velvet of the sky
In this marvelous summer night,
The moon and guiding star's eye
Give for us their magical light.
...

Прошу простить меня за мой укор.
Но как назвать стихами те творения,
Где рифмы нет, - лишь слов набор
Для передачи сердца настроения?
...

First of all, I apologize for the harshness of my words.
This is my subjective opinion and may be an indefensible:
Poems devoid of rhyme is like sentences without dots -
Neither poetry nor prose, - something incomprehensible.

Waiting

Heart of happiness so passionately dreams
Where is the long-awaited my only
Where and in what regions he lives
I should live alone how longly?

I will drive away sadness from soul's home
I believe that will come happiness
By a thrilling tender hope I will warm
The waiting heart that is a restless...
