The Woods Poem by Genice Lorraine De Fabriciano

The Woods

Rating: 4.5

Driving down
Curly hill
In the woods
Through the woods
Out of the woods
For now

Topsy turvy curves
Emotional rollercoaster
Seems finally over

Could be the hydrocodone
Vicodin and kozy vanilla pudding
But I believe it's the tender-loving care
Moreover, than the meds
Coupled with the peppy nurses
OHSU's sugared smiling faces

At least I'm out of the woods
For now

A beautiful sight
But nice to be out of the woods
Physically healing
In recovery

I dream of caressive woods
I lay in your greenery
