The Weaver Bird Poem by brako the poet

The Weaver Bird

Rating: 4.3

In silence did he work like the weaver bird
Anger sang in his little head
Cus hatred was forgotten in the days of old
Long forgotten before stories were been told
But some men bought it and are been sold
And when you realize laughter is gone
Do not ask where had the smiles gone
When we come together to share comfort like the pillow
Words gave hatred to a fellow
And weighed him down like tons of kilos
Rich or poor never said I
But proclaimed by an empty vessel with no good eye
And when you realize laughter is gone
Do not ask where had the smiles gone
Sorry I say to those I have offended before, now and after
But not to a man who proclaim abundance
But yet has nothing
From wisdom to the common light of a lantern
And if you realize laughter is gone
Do not ask where had the smiles gone
Lost in his thoughts
Not anger
But the edge to do more was like hunger
In silence was he able to listen
Cus joy and success are predestined
Envy and hatred not his focus
Love and peace expensive not low cost
When you realize laughter is gone
do not ask where have all the smiles gone
