The Waves Poem by Soran M. H

The Waves

Rating: 4.7

The ashes of waves
cover the sea with their redness...

before closing their eyes
they had asked forgiveness of the sea
and stopped the crying of dolls

that sea where on its beaches
you collected the wrecks of ships

even then you didn't know
what magic linked you
with the sea's messages!

Even now
your tired shadows are
waiting there for the sea...

From time to time
the sea became calm
like times of your contemplation
or like:
the quiet in the dust of the ends of wars

tell your stories to the moon
may be she won't lie to you
she will trust you
respect you...

It's beautifully melancholic. And the picture even worse. Thanks for scaring (sharing)

Exactly, this is a scream, can only be heard by those who suffer it, experience it, or live its minutes

The magic of Poetry sometimes lies in the thoughts of the Poet that provoke the mind to dig deeper into the words taking him to a different dimension. This marvelous and intriguing write has this power.

A very thought provoking poem. I concur with Shaun Cronick that this marvelous write is indeed a hard read. Great thoughts to ponder about. To my Poem List.

The first two striking lines depict wreckage that bring death and sadness.. Yes, a gentle wind can tame the harshness of the wild sea and one can attain calmness. Yet, these waves are just ephemeral and the waves of the sea can take us again.... wandering with the wind.
