The Sword Of Thunder Poem by Chandan Dey

The Sword Of Thunder

Rating: 5.0

Honey
when your heart
is broken into pieces;
not even the slightest
we like to see you
scampering bewildered
in the labyrinth
you make in the sky-
look at the world of stars
and the unspoken lives therein.

Here are we waiting
to see your rise from the stupor
and from your Dark Matrix,
a sword of thunder
that speaks to us with a Big Sound.

The sound of thunder is the voice of Nature like the roar of lions! Nice one!

I’m totally agreed with you. Yes, one always needs to roar like a lion to overcome one’s dejection.
