Going Beyond The Life
You've gifted me
a flinty world
of ‘bland' emptiness,
yet
your hidden blessings
have powered me
to feel-
there is in that
something more real
than the everyday's
illusory truths
of cheer and wretchedness.
Hi Chandan. This poem makes me cry as I think of my mom who was gone just the other month. There's a story in your poems that everybody can relate to, illusory yet as realistic as grief as this poem is. Thank you for the recall, though painful.
