The She That Is Me Poem by Laura Jane Wilson

The She That Is Me

She is my enemy
She is my friend
She wants to live
She wants her world to end.

She knows no boundaries
She is held in a cage
She is too passive,
She is too full of rage.

She always cries
She carries no tears
She is afraid of nothing,
She has a thousand fears.

She can be stubborn
She is sometimes kind
She holds it together
She has lost her mind.

She has been tortured
She feels no pain
She holds no memories
She relives the past, again & again.
