The Sea In Me, Is Alike In Thou Too. Poem by David Lazar

The Sea In Me, Is Alike In Thou Too.

The Sea in me, is alike in thou too.

Oh brimful ever is my compatriot lies,
Self-immolation was thy final choice.
As a harbour knockdown at its recent revolt,
Of thou reaps are in vain without harvest full;
Those of thy pearls are to be discover yet;
Great comrade of great fame hastily fade.

The sea in me, is alike in thou too, ever undulating waves thou failed to see!

The sea her redder glow waves are constant,
Gleams up to its fullest height, sank off tomb-less.
Unrealised her white forming up, is only a cascade of spray.
Unaware of, her inborn pounds at thou heart
And brain; just tides formation under the soluna.*
Forgotten, contrasts art her constant plans; of an angry mother.

The sea in me, is alike in thou too, ever undulating waves thou failed to see!

Ain't thou await for her usual face gentleness, a little childlike?
Blind'd at her immense vastness, boundless depths, as fatherly love unexpressed full.
Merely believedher unpredictability, not her lasting tranquillity.
Misunderstood her racing, for equalising warmth o'er its lands.
But thy blooming life shan't hastily fade'd,
Nor shall suicide brag thou wonders of heaven.

Oh Great comrade of great fame hastily fade!

The Sea in me, is alike in thou too.

* soluna = Sun and Moon
