Brain Rain Poem by David Lazar

Brain Rain

I love it when it rains
Each little droplet,
Makes it a change.
Distractive wind tries to sway it,
Pushing it to south, west, north or God knows.
But it rains again and again.

It's pain and heavy in the cloud
Let the rain come down,
Dance its drops against the wind,
Be calm to hearts,
A soothe to pain,
Bringing hope for the future.

Rain rain, Brain rain,
Come again, Brain Rain!

Let the rain come down, Dance its drops against the wind, - - - - nice image and the alliteration of " dance its drops" was very attractive- - Welcome to Poem Hunters!
