The Conflict Poem by Shamsher Kendal

The Conflict

Between day and dark the winter
engages in a ceaseless bout,
and the sun perpetually leads the
living beings to come out.

In the morning the sun is round the
corner but there is chill,
and nobody is moving out even on
the down and the hill.

As the day progresses and the sun
enkindkes and conflagrates
the birds starts hopping and even
a sluggish shows no frets.

The sun celebrates the triumph over
the wintertide and the frost,
watches wanderings of the living
beings that enjoy the most.

The cold then cogitates long and
hobnobs with the fierce wind.
and all watch there the mighty sun
beaten against the twinned.

The living beings in daytime who
had basked in the sun,
and in the blaze and cold conflict
they were the first to run.
