That Special Girl Poem by William Tsoukalas

That Special Girl

Rating: 5.0

Late one night, away so far
I saw the twinkle of a star
When I looked into the darkened sky
I sat alone and wondered why
A star that everyone could see
Would shine its light on only me
So I reached up high above the land
And held that starlet in my hand
Now that star that everyone could see
Just had three things to say to me
Be honest, caring and be true
And I'll shine my light on you
Now my starlet shines on me night and day
And there is something that I must say
To that special star from up above
From me to you I send my love
