A Heart Of Gold Poem by William Tsoukalas

A Heart Of Gold

If you give what you have, and take just what you need
That will show others the life that you lead
It's not about money It's not about things
It's about Angels earning their wings
It may seem strange and it may take a while
To know that you have made someone smile
So just find a person, who is in need
And for that person, do one special deed
And when you're done, I hope that you know
That is one thing to make an Angels wings grow
Now if you continue this for quite a while
Just look around and see all the people who smile
Remember it's not what you take, it's just what you give
It's part of the happy life that you live
Now the things that you have done, is the reason why
The Angels all have wings, so that they can fly
Now the main reason to do a good deed
So the Angels are around, when you are in need
Now when you go to bed, and fall asleep
The wings that you earned are for you to keep
