So Long You Are Here Poem by Victor OKechukwu

So Long You Are Here

Rating: 5.0

Gloomy days may be long
But forever shines the sun;
The rainbow in the sky
Brings the promise of life to mind.

Smile and turn my light on,
Though I slip I shall not fall;
Laugh and give me some hope,
If I was sick I am now whole.

With every sight of you
And all little gestures you do,
My very life is renewed
And love is worth the pursuit.

No death, no ill, no fear
Anytime I see you near;
And so long you are here,
My dear, the road is ever clear.

Smile and turn my light on,
Though I slip I shall not fall;
Laugh and give me some hope,
If I was sick I am now whole.

Laugh and give me some hope If I was sick I am now whole ... If laughter could last forever ...

Beautiful depiction of the uplifting spiritual experience that is Love ❤, well articulated and elegantly brought forth in good diction from the heart with conviction. Thanks for sharing Victor. Please read my poems.
