Rainy Days Poem by Jayne Doe

Rainy Days

We all get gray
Sometimes,
Forgetting all
Those silver lines,
Only rain
Has come today

Drip, drip, drop
Will it ever stop

Sometimes yes
It blows away,
Other times
It's here to stay,
And we must learn
To dance in rain

Drip, drip, drop
Will it ever stop

It's okay
To take a break
Let it all soak in,
Wait a while
Soon you'll see
You'll start to dance again

Drip, drip, drop
Will it ever stop

If you dance now
Imagine how
You'll dance without the rain,
Take your break
Wait out the ache
Then dance away your pain

Drip, drip, drop
Will it ever stop

You're soaked and dry
All at one time
As you face the sky,
With a dancing smile
It's lighter now
The sun is coming out

Drip, drip, drop.
You don't need it to stop.
Drip.
Drip.

Drop.
