Nothing prevents man from pursuits,
man by his own scrupulousness
ventures to find many routes to vengeance;
dissatisfied he keeps prolonging his own agony
in the hope of defeating his enemy;
in the game of torment, he torments himself
he wants to feel victorious,
he awaits the downfall of others
yet on the other side of the riverbank
stands his rival so strong with determination and God.
The innocent is always so certain of truth
in his conscience, in his heart,
he waves the white flag of peace amidst the hatred he sees.
yet, the enemy turns a blind eye
and under-estimates the dexterity
which his opponent beholds;
with patience and tolerance awaits his rival
for the pastures of realization to ripen
but the enemy misjudges his opponent's humbleness
and miscalculates his own options with fury,
he keeps playing his games of roguery
not accepting that his quantum of revenge
is like a spoonful of dust which blows up in the air
without any harvests, results or benefits.
