Oh Lost Child Poem by Jane Z

Oh Lost Child

Retracing footsteps, hidden
beneath the oceans bed.
A fallen star
once your navigator
now disposed, unneeded.

Oh lost lost child
Skipping amongst the grassy fields,
searching every crook and nanny.
What're you in search for?
In this mortal meaningless world,
a place full of longing, grief and joy
wandering around and around in circles.

Oh lost lost child
Why are you digging?
Dirt chunk by chunk removed from Earths' surface.
A delicate fragile small box appears, marked; Memories.
Could I lock mine with yours?
to remove all signs of weary and pain
Goodnight oh lost lost child...

hmm I like this more than the others.. you always do well with your theme of the ocean and how the sand under its waves aren't ever set in a permanent shape, I really like it. Makes me wish I lived next to an ocean to get some inspiration.
